From the Associated Press:

Tiger Woods had reconstructive surgery on his left knee Tuesday
in Utah to repair a torn ligament, and doctors said it was "highly
unlikely" there would be any long-term effects.

Tiger never loses when he leads on the final day. It's true again. Everyone in the WFAA sports department was watching anxiously as Woods battled Rocco Mediate through the final holes of the playoff round and the sudden-death hole.

As an avid golfer, Tiger Woods has provided me so much excitement that I've come to expect greatness. But on the 72nd hole of the Arnold Palmer Invitational I actually let out a yell. I hadn't done that in quite some time with Woods because when you expect the greatness, it doesn't come as a surprise.
