College Football: August 2008 ArchivesI was at the TCU-New Mexico football game Saturday in Albuquerque (for pleasure, not work) and found their fans to be quite colorful -- with their language (and gestures). While everyone on my trip here has been extremely friendly (offered a taste of green chilies by tailgaters, for example), inside University Stadium (yes, that's the creative name they came up with) something happens and it's not pretty. I have never had so ma... Here in the press box, the Cowboys also have the Baylor Bears and Wake Forest Football game on. I won't mention names, but at times, there are more folks watching the Baylor game then the Cowboys game, at least during halftime when the game was close. It is Art Briles debut as the head coach of the Bears. Baylor's freshman quarterback Robert Griffin from Copperas Cove reminds me a lot of Vince Young. He has had some really nice moves... It's time to start talking college football and we have a lot for you. The season kicks off in less than a month. Texas A&M has a new starting QB. SMU has a new coach and outlook.
