Arlington, Texas - Texas Rangers General Manager Jon Daniels formally announced today that the club has named Clint Hurdle as the team's new hitting coach. The hiring fills the only vacancy on the Rangers' 2010 coaching staff.

If Gary Patterson and TCU are going to finish the year undefeated, it's going to be tough road. Three of the four teams left on their schedule still have the ability to make a bowl game.
