Romo finding the right "mix"

From snap to score it took 8 seconds. It was classic Romo. Taking a risk that nearly ended in no points and a crescendo of boos from a fan base wondering what their quarterback was thinking. Instead, it was a game-changing touchdown that helped propel the Cowboys to their biggest win of this young season.

Mesmerizing and magical, Romo eluded a slew of Falcon defenders, and instead of throwing the ball away with time running out in the first half, Romo, "instinctively" decided to wait, and it payed off with a hi-lite touchdown to Patrick Crayton they'll be playing for years.

In the bigger picture, it showed Romo that he can take risk and still have success. That hasn't always been the case this season, and he admitted that he's been looking for the "right mix" when it comes to ball protection and being aggressive,
"I've played the other way too where I'm never going to turn the ball over and you know safe is death as well," said Romo. "If you play too safe you can only be so good."

Romo is also seemingly getting a better understanding when it comes to seeing the potential pitfalls that come with aggressive play, "Hopefully you make 5 good ones and then you have a bad one," he said. "You just have to trust your instincts and rely on them every once in awhile to help you do certain things."
