| Cowboys offered trade for TE Martellus Bennett »
He's best known as the Cowboy player who once ate a cricket on a bet. And his nickname instantly became "Cricket." I know an almost invisable fullback nicknamed "Cricket" might not hold a great deal of weight to the general public when it comes to his opinion. But "Cricket" might have a point when it comes to the Atlanta game, "We're stronger than they are up front," he told me. "So let's run the ball and impose our will." That kinda talk gets me going. He's not the only Cowboy whose told me that, by the way, and against the Falcons they've got a shot. The three-headed monster of Marion Barber, Felix Jones, and Tashard Choice is healthy. And get this, the Falcons rank 23rd in the NFL against the run, giving up more than 118 yards/game on the ground. Hey, the "Crickets" chirp might be worth listening to after all. |
