Michael Young extend his hit streak to 17 games today. It is the third longest streak in his career. He now has 167 hits on the season, well on his way to having another 200 plus season. If he should get to 200 again, he would become only the 14th player all-time to have six seasons with 200 or more, only Ichiro Suzuki have more on the active list.
