In his last two starts, Scott Feldman has only allowed eight hits over 12 innings, striking out 13 in the process. The man behind the plate, future Hall of Fame catcher Pudge Last weekend Feldman pointed out that he was a little pumped up to throw to the former MVP. Tonight, Rodriguez helped him at the plate as well. Pudge it his first home run for Texas since Sept. 29th, 2002. It was a solo shot in the ninth, which gave Texas a nice little cushion. Rodriguez is batting .255 on the year with nine homers, but since his return to Arlington, the 37 year old is batting .318. As long as Feldman is pitching well, expect Pudge to be behind the plate with the youngster. (AP Photo/Paul Battaglia) |
