| Wade Phillips says off season golf won't effect QB Tony Romo »
The Cowboys first workout without pads was something Head Coach Wade Phillips says he picked up from Marv Levy at Buffalo. "I just felt when Marv started camp that way, I thought it helped," Phillips said. "He got through training camp with very few injuries." Phillips says that wasn't the only reason, but easing into a schedule that includes 31 practices feels right. Phillips said he thought his team looked in good shape. They ran sprints at the end and didn't have any trouble with that. "For the first day, I was pleased," he said. |
