If you have the inclination and a few hours, this might be worth a read. It's the arbitration hearing between Don Nelson and the Dallas Mavericks (and owner Mark Cuban). It's 210 pages, about half of which includes testimony of Nellie and Cuban. The Dallas Morning News inquired about the documents earlier this week. Last summer, a judge ruled in favor of Nelson and awarded him more than $6 million, plus $800,000 in attorney fees. In November, a state court confirmed that award, but Cuban has yet to pay Nelson anything, even though more attorney fees and interest pile up at a rate of about $30,000 a month. 2 CommentsLeave a comment |

When Cuban strolled into our lives we loved
him as a good natured young man. When he
misbehaved at the games we said he was just
passionate about his team. Folks, this man
walks like a duck. Looks like a duck and quacks
like a duck. No way to deny it anymore.
He isn't a nice young man at all. Every so
often more evidence surfaces that he is selfish,
abusive, and a bully. When he doesn't get his
way, he becomes a preteen again. I would say
that it might be a better suggestion for him
to move on. We don't need our children and
grandchildren watching this man act out.
O.K. I'm losing patience for bad decisions being made. Cuban got rid of Devin Harris, whom had begin to prove himself. He was young and fast. Can you imagin Barrera and Harris on the floor at the same time with JET and Dirk, and oh don't forget the great re-bounder and ball blocker Brandon Bass, the one you got rid of. If we still had that mix, we would have our opponents on edge, wondering which way to go. And last but not least, our head coach Avery Johnson (The Little General), who had skills on the side line as a coach and on the floor as a player. Don't forget, He was voted NBA's Coach Of The Year. But you fired Him. What does Coach Carlisle record look like? What is going on Mr. Cuban?
