Though Ian Kinsler lost the fan's vote to be added to the American League All-Star roster, the Rangers will have one more representative joining Josh Hamilton and Michael Young in St. Louis.

Outfielder Nelson Cruz has been added to the team, since Angels outfielder Torii Hunter will not play in the game due to injury.

Cruz has 20 homers and 50 RBI through Thursday.

Watching my grass grow would be more

Josh Hamilton as a all star is a joke and an insult to those outfielders who have played the full first half of the season.

As ususal, the uninformed and ignorant Ranger fans are drooling all over thmeselves because they think Hamilton is their salvation. Now that he is off the DL, they seem to believe the Rangers are mortal locks for the World Series. LOL at that one!

Have seen way too many second half el foldos to believe one player, marginally major league talent at that, can help this bunch.
