The Ticket's George Dunham announced today on the station that he will no longer be the stadium voice of the Dallas Cowboys. Dunham was the public address announcer at Texas Stadium for 12 years. With the Cowboys moving to the new stadium in Arlington and, more importantly, switching radio homes to 105.3 The Fan, Dunham has been told he won't be returning. The co-host of The Ticket's popular morning radio show, Dunham and Milller, said he was informed of the team's decision today by owner Jerry Jones. 16 CommentsLeave a comment |

They hired Hammer..
I heard they hired Quincy Carter...you know, because he's so eloquent...
I heard that it will be Sports Panties.
Think they are going to hire Sports Turm....he has more sports sense than anyone
They are hiring Sturm
Stay hard, VSBB!
Isn't it so sad!
Now Jub Jub can say what he actually thinks about the Cowboys, and especially, Jerry Davis, I mean, Jerry Jones. Dang! I keep getting them mixed up!
Since he has the "world's largest" TV screens over the field, he won't need stadium announcers. Jerry savng his money. Or, he just may do the announcements himself. He has his hand in everything else, and we see how well that is turning out.
Who really cares, maybe they will put dale hansen there.....lol
This looks like a good job for Mush Mouth.
Jerry will do it while he is calling the plays.
He will have to keep the mic off while he is
calling the audibles.
CBS Radio owns the FAN 105.3, new voice of the Cowboys game day broadcast. There was no way that CBS would allow their largest competitior, the TICKET, to be involved with game day. That's why George is gone.
In an announcement to his fans former V.O.T.S. said he is stepping down to spend more time with his family and further his philanthropic endeavors
I love You Jane........
I Love you too Jah......
So with The Fan firing its on-air people on an almost daily basis and ranking No. 20 among 18-54 males, will it even be here by football season. CBS is losing money by the bushels on this failed attempt at sports radio.
So... CBS didn't have a problem w/ Jub when they had the Cowboy game on other CBS stations. They still had KRLD then. It is just petty and they are obviously trying to weasel their way into the sports world anyway possible so that people will actually HAVE to listen to them... Like anyone would do it on purpose. Maybe they should have gotten better on-air sports talent to start off with... Oh, wait. They were already at The Ticket.
Whatever.
