The Ruff Riders say he is no longer with the team. Carter played in 31 games for the Cowboys from 2001-2003. He was released by the team before the 2004 season. Since his release from the Cowboys, Carter has played for four teams in four different leagues. He also has been arrested four times. The two most recent arrests took place in Abilene, and The Reporter-News reports the Ruff Riders' coach and general manager said their patience was tried by Carter throughout the season. Carter had been injured, but returned for the fourth quarter of last week's game. He played in nine games this year, going 132-253 with 41 TDs and 5 INTs. The Ruff Riders started Randy Hymes at quarterback. Hymes, a receiver who had not played quarterback since he was in college in 2000, went 4-16 for 27 yards, but that was good enough to lead the team to a 43-27 win. Hymes will quarterback the team in the upcoming Indoor Football League playoffs 12 CommentsLeave a comment |

Classy.
One of Jerry's former projects proves what Jerry Jones knows about being an NFL GM.
Quincy can't see past the end of his crack pipe !
I think the Cowboys should re-sign him to play!
I wonder if Q.C. and T.O. could be best buds and make their own team and league. Sounds like a match to me!

who cares this guy is a loser. I'm sure Jerry is eyeing him.
Comments about Jerry Jones ability to GM the Cowboys just floor me. I prime example of stupid comments would be what David C had to say above. While I'm not a fan of all of his moves the guy has done a pretty good job with the Cowboys over the years. The fact that they are one of the most profitable franchises in sports has everything to do with the players on the field and nothing to do with Jerry Jones. I DOUBT IT!
No one can expect every draft pick to pan out. Jerry's problem isnt his enthusiasm, its his willingness to reach. Look no further than the past draft where he out thought himself picking up a multitude of late round picks. Theres nothing wrong with drafting projects. Quincy is a prime example of how far he's willing to reach to get his guy. But, I'd much rather have him as an owner than 80% of the other owners. Still, how freaking arrogant does Quincy have to be to give a three hour notice that he'll be a no show!
Jerry Jones and Al Davis. Both need to retire and get out of the way. At some point everbodys decision making abilty goes bad.
Jerry is gonna be gettin' real interested in
him now. 4 arrests and not showing up for
a game.....Prime prospect for Jones.
How many times does a guy get to have it made and screw it up? Quincy's got nobody to blame but himself for whatever happens to him. So many would love to have what he has had and yet he pisses it away. Ignorance!
