It's tough to play football without pads, but that's what the Cowboys are trying to do in this minicamp.

So what happens is a young player, eager to prove he can play, takes a basic running play and runs all over the field running into players.

Keon Lattimore did that on a running play in team drills and ran into Terence Newman, whose apparent instinct was to try an tackle Lattimore. He thought better of it and let Lattimore bounce off.

For the record, the players are wearing shorts, jerseys and helmets.
