Maybe it's the heat out here. The Dallas Cowboys offense and defense are having some words. It's been an ongoing theme of minicamp. The latest incident came in six-on-six passing drills. The Cowboys offensive specialists were going against the defensive secondary and inside linebackers. Tony Romo threw a pass towards tight end Jason Witten in the end zone and defensive back Alan Ball grabbed him. It would have been a pass interference penalty. The Cowboys offensive players, and in particular tight ends coach John Garrett, were not happy. Safety Ken Hamlin then retorted: "You push, we hold." The defense insisted Witten pushed off. It's kind of like a squabble between siblings. Also, Romo just hit Roy Williams with a nice pass on a slant route. But a few plays later Pat Watkins intercepted Romo. |
