You know, I'm beginning to think this year's team team may indeed have IT. And the Rangers fans, they deserve IT. This team sure is finding some fun ways to win games. The latest on Thursday afternoon: The Rangers score 3 runs in the 9th, including a Chris Davis 2-run walk off homer, and win 3-2 over Seattle. Tell me - Who has a better chance winning in the playoffs this year, the 2009 Rangers or 2009 Cowboys? Also, what do you like most about this team? I say Rangers.
I would have to say the Cowboys will win a Playoff game first. While the Rangers are doing GREAT at the current time, I still need a bigger sample of what they can do then just 34 games. Ask again after 68 then we I may change my opinion. As for who will carry the Rangers for the rest of the season......Well I believe their are about two players in the Minors whom I can see giving this team a boost come August or Sept. The Rangers are good but currently I cant say they will win a playoff game before the Cowboys. My opinion could change if this great run continues for 34 more games.
We shall see.
I Go with the Dallas Cowboys.
The Rangers will win a Playoff game first. They are a TEAM having lots of fun. The Cowboys have yet to learn that teamwork is an important element of winning. The Rangers will win this year and they as well as all of us faithful fans will love doing it.
I would have to go with the Cowboys, but I say we talk about this after we have seen if the Rangers can win after the All Star break. We've all had our hopes up to only be let down soon after the break.
If they Rangers make the playoffs they most likely win a playoff game, since it's a series. The Cowboys will likely struggle to make the playoffs and then would have to win once they're in, and it'll probably be on the road.
Rangers have an easier road.
Hmmmm good question, let's wait until September before we ask that question. Meanwhile gotta get some cheering in now for the Rangers.
Who would have ever thought that we would be asking ourselves this question? I have to say the Rangers...
Rangers won't win a playoff game. It might be a couple of years before the Cowboys do, but they will win one before the Rangers. The Rangers always collapse in the second half of the season. They're terrible. Last year at this time they had about the same record, but they were 10 games back. The only reason we're talking about the Rangers in the playoffs is because the Angels and A's haven't hit their stride yet.
The better question would be who would win and advance in the playoffs first, since baseball requires that you win a series to advance. I think the Rangers could win a playoff game first, but I am not sure they could advance by winning a series before the Cowboys win a playoff game and advance. Let's talk about this again in September and see where we are then.
