Fort Worth's Rory Sabbatini, by way of South Africa, roars to the top of the HP Byron Nelson Championship with a sizzling 64 today. Its another day with near perfect conditions especially for the early tee times. Sabbatini saving his round with a clutch par on number 3 - he hit it in the water and was staring at double-bogey, but holed out from a greenside bunker. Then he went on to birdie 4 of his last 6 holes, and right now stands atop the leaderboard alone at 8-under par.

1st round co-leader and Australian James Nitties follows up his 5-under 65 with an up and down 68: 5 birdies, a bogey, and a double for a 68 and 2-day total of 7-under par.

Another international player, England's Brian Davis, one of 4 golfers tied for second at 7-under. He fired up a 5-under 65 that included 7 birdies and a double-bogey.

Dallas native Justin Leonard with the round of the tournament so far, a stellar 63, following his opening round 75, so he's at 2-under for the tournament which should be good enough to make the cut.
