It won't be easy - the Rangers have lost their last 8 games at Comerica Park, dating back to 2007. Detroit was where the Rangers' great start to the season hit a wall: 3-0 at home against Cleveland, then three straight losses that sent the Rangers into a tailspin.

So far in 2009, Detroit is 11-5 at home and playing pretty well (20-16 overall). But Texas is playing as well as anybody right now.

I don't know how much a day off helps a baseball team ... we know how important an extra day of rest is for basketball players. Hopefully it will benefit the Rangers enough to end that 8-game losing streak in Comerica, and stretch their currenty win streak to 8 games.
