You know that hard foul Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin put on the Mavs' Dirk Nowtizki Sunday afternoon, well Nuggets coach George Karl doesn't think it was so bad.

Martin was fined $25,000 by the NBA and the foul was upgraded to a flagrant foul.

Karl calls the fine "way out of line and crazy."

A technical foul was called on Martin early in the first quarter of Game 1 for his baseline assault on Dirk.

The Nuggets won the game 109-95. Game 2 tips at 9:30 Dallas time tonight in Denver.
