The first half wasn't exactly what the Mavericks wanted against the Nuggets. While they had first quartesr success inside, they're still shooting just 36 percent to trail Denver 48-to-45 at the half.

Denver, which shot just 25 percent in the first quarter, is now shooting 33 percent. It's enough to give them a 3-point lead.

The Nuggets took the lead for the first time at 35-to-33 as part of a 9-0 run. Chris Anderson spent lot's of time on the Denver bench with 3 fouls.

Dirk Nowitzki is the only Mavericks player in double figures with 21. Denver has only one player in double figures as well and that's Carmelo Anthony with 19.
