Mavericks lose game three to Nuggets

Carmelo Anthony's three pointer with 1-second left gives Denver a 3-0 lead in their best of seven series against Dallas. The final was 106-to-105 Denver.

Jason Terry's three pointer with 31.1 seconds left in the game gave Dallas a 105-to-101 lead but it wasn't enough.

Denver didn't have the inside presence that they had in games one and two but they made the outside shot when it counted most. Chris Andersen fouled out with 9:09 left in the game. He left with only 5 points.

The Dallas bench outscored Denver 22-to-11 by the end of the third and 35-to-18 by the end of the game but even that didn't keep the Nuggets from pulling out a last second win.

Dirk Nowitzki showed no signs of having personal problems by scoring 33. Denver had two players over thirty, Chauncey Billups with 32 and Carmelo Anthony with 31.

The Mavericks are in danger of being swept when the two teams square off in game four Monday night at 8:30 CDT.
