A live-in female companion of Dallas Mavericks' forward Dirk Nowitzki was arrested Wednesday afternoon at the NBA star's Preston Hollow home. Nowitzki had just returned to Texas, with the Mavericks, from Denver. It is not known if he was at home at the time of the arrest.

Dallas Police say Cristal Taylor, 37, was arrested on Wednesday by a task force of Dallas police officers and Dallas County sheriff deputies and was booked at the Lew Sterrett Justice Center. Sources told News 8 that Taylor was wanted for one warrant out of St. Charles County in Missouri and one out of Jefferson County in Texas.

Nowitzki scored 35 points last night in the Mavericks' playoff loss to Denver.
