Lakers' Fisher gets ejected

It's worth a youtube search, if you're just getting into work and didn't see it last night. I haven't watched a whole lot of the Lakers-Rockets game but turned to it after the Rangers game ended.

Anyway, saw a couple of long-haired Europeans jawing at each other after a hard foul on Odom (Scola and Vujacic). So a few minutes later, Scola comes to set a pick on Derek Fisher, and Fisher just blows Scola up, like a free safety taking a shot at an exposed wide receiver. He got a flagrant 2 and was ejected, but the Lakers were up by something like 11 points at the time (late in the 3rd quarter), so maybe he felt like it was a good time to send a message without hurting his team.

Hey Ted, I'm watching the game as well, and you are right! I think Fisher was sending a message. That is the type of player he is. A smart move considering that they are up by double digits.

I wish the Mavericks had a guy like this.

Why, why can't the Mavs have someone like that! That was so awesome...
