Dirk Nowtizki had a lot to say in a wide-ranging media session this afternoon.

It's been a busy week and a half to for the Mavericks All-NBA forward.

There was the playoff series with Denver and the arrest of his girlfriend, Cristal Taylor.

Here is some of what he had to say:

On the Nuggets series:
"Denver was just a way better team with way more weapons."

"At this point I don't play for making the playoffs or making the second round," he said. "My goal is to win a championship."

"We'll just have to sit on this one for a summer and come back fired up next year."

On point guard Jason Kidd, who is a free agent:

"I'm sure all the good teams want him."

"If we lose him now it will be tough."

"We'd love to have Kidd back."

On Cristal Taylor:

"I'm OK, hanging in there," he said. "It's been a tough two weeks, or however long it's been. That's really all I can say about it."
