The Mavericks made a decent run in the second quater and cut Denver's lead down to five. But silly turnovers and technical fouls allowed the Nuggets to take a 10-point lead into the half 63-to-53.

Dallas got two type 1 flagrant fouls in the quarter, one on Josh Howard and a second on Jason Terry. If you get two type 1 flagrants in one game, the player is ejected.

Denver's hot hand has cooled from 72 percent in the first quarter to 52 percent at the half.

The Mavericks were within 5-points in the final minute but did little to stay there.
