The following was released this afternoon by the Dallas Cowboys - The event is not open to the public: Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones will switch on the world's largest 1080p HDTV video board for the first time at Cowboys Stadium (1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 21, 2009). Weighing 600 tons, the screens will be suspended 90 feet directly over the center of the playing surface and stretch from nearly one 20-yard line to the other. The four-sided, center-hung structure, a first for an NFL stadium, consists of four Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision™ video displays. The innovative technology will give every fan a great seat and the view is better than watching a 60 inch HDTV in your living room. Fans will be able to see the players as if they were standing on the sidelines creating a living, interactive aspect to the building. 13 CommentsLeave a comment |

To bad I cant afford to give up my daughters college fund to be able to watch the Cowboys play in a one of a kind stadium. Maybe in my next lifetime I'll be born into enough wealth to be able to watch a live football game.
Ron,
Maybe in your next lifetime, you'll work harder to be able to afford it. (Instead of spending your time typing worthless messages)
- Your Initiative
Can't we all just get along here? Please.
I thought these messages were to be a review of the content of the articles. Not personal attacks on peoples opinions.
I make enough money to go see one of these games, but will not. Time for Jerry to retire!
I'm a Cowboy Fan,and work at the old stadium but I can't afford to purcahse a ticket, I wish I could. Two ways I will see the Cowboys on TV or if I get hired on at the new stadium. GO COWBOYS
Jerry has a 70,000 sf. suite in Jerry Dome.
I think we should all pony up thousands of
dollars to honor him. Hail to Jerry!
My life is now complete!!!
wilback:
Buy the Dallas Cowboys and you can have the suite.
Sincerely,
Jerry Jones
Go Steelers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that was funny!!!! I don't care who you
are....that is FUNNY!!!!
Well done.
I was wondering if 90ft above the playing surface is HIGH enough to avoid HIGH punts from actually hitting it? Just curious.
Jerry Jones says it's high enough so no punts will hit it... maybe if Mat McBriar really gets into one it'll be close.
Knowing Jerry's history of failures......uh....
would you want to stand underneath that thing?
You call winning 3 super bowl's failure?
