The only one laughing, has to be T.O. himself. Tony Romo and Jason Witten, perhaps as well. They may have personally called their favorite local locksmith and had the Buffalo key cut for Owens. Owens hasn't played a down yet for Buffalo, yet is being treated like some sort of Luke Skywalker savior. The one who would rescue the Bills franchise and save them from years of mediocrity. First of all, making T.O. a savior figure is a joke in and of itself. Granted, it's easy for us to look back and say this now, after Owens made a mess of things at Valley Ranch late last season. But even when he came to the Cowboys, T.O. was never considered a savior. The franchise is too big for that, even him. When you've had players like Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach and Bob Lilly, it's hard to stand out. Buffalo, on the other hand, has nothing going for it for entertainment value, unless you count the local ice fishing tournament sponsored by the Rotary Club. Buffalo is No Man's Land for North American sports. If Owens has been banished to sporting Siberia, he isn't showing the effects. Yet. He is saying all the right things and flashing that trademark empty smile. But it's only a matter of time before the man with the keys to the city shows up to Buffalo's practice facility and finds his key doesn't work anymore. 7 CommentsLeave a comment |

Ummm... Bruce Smith(the current all time sack leader), Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, James Lofton, Billy Shaw, O.J. Simpson. Buffalo has had many hall of famers - and now they can add T.O. to that list too.
Can you do me a favor before your next 'blog'? Try researching what you are talking about. How did you get this job anyway?
But here's the real question: who are Dallas fans going to blame when they miss the playoffs again this year? Your scapegoat is gone now guys and you will have to face the fact that Romo is the problem, and that T.O. was not. Did T.O. fumble the snap in Dallas' last playoff loss? That would be your stud, Mr. Romo, in case you forgot.
One more thing... Here are T.O.'s #'s for last year: 69 catches, 1052 yards, 15.2 yards per catch, and 10 touchdowns. Roy Williams might get half of that - maybe. Get your popcorn ready for the biggest bust in Dallas history.
Enjoy your offseason guys, because it's going to be a long year for you Dallas fans.
Hey I agree totally with Patrick You wanted T.O. gone he is gone leave him alone. another city, another time zone, another conference LET IT GO !Roy Williams will NEVER command double coverage let see how far down Witten's number go No Mo Pro-boe foe Romeo.
I have to agree with both gentlemen! Romeo is NOT the leader of the Cowboys as Troy A. and Roger S. were in their times with the team. This year will once again prove to everyone that letting a TOP notch reciever like T.O. was a HUGH mistake and not the answer to the team not making to an NFC championship!
How arrogant to resort to name-calling of a city and people of which he obviously has no knowledge. At least the Bills' practice field is still standing. That collapse won't be the last disaster for the Cowboys this year.
Lynne,
While it might be arrogant to make fun of Buffalo, it is absolutely disgusting to take a cheap-shot by referencing an incident which left a man paralyzed and turning it into a FAILED attempt at humor.
Like T.O., you have no class.
First of all. It isn't a cheap shot about the practice facility. That is the result of Jerry Jones running the show. I didn't care after the collapse, and care less now. Secondly. We all
wanted Owens gone. He will start a new life
there. Good Luck and Good Riddance.
Thirdly. Save your whining for the season.
You will get ample opportunities to cry, and
complain. This team is another result of
Jerry Jones and that ain't good!!!
I think T.O. will be good for Buffalo. All the drama at Valley Ranch is not only his fault. Quit blaming him for ALL the problems the Dallas franchise has!!!
