A $3 million make-over was supposed to make Colonial tougher for the tour guys. Fort Worth's Rory Sabbatini estimated 2 to 3 shots harder per round.

But these are not normal conditions at Colonial. There's ZERO wind. I mean none, zip, nada. And it doesn't matter how much more length or where they placed the bunkers, these guys are going to go low. Like the old ads said, these guys are good.

Chad Campbell withdraws from Colonial

WFAA's Joe Trahan and Arnold Payne at Colonial report Chad Campbell is withdrawing from the tournament and will likely miss several weeks with a calf injury.

Campbell, a native of Andrews, Texas, felt something pop when he was playing on the 17th hole at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial in Fort Worth.

He tore a muscle in his left calf, said his friend Dale Funk, an orthopedic surgeon.
