Jason Witten rode in a go kart this afternoon as part of a Texas Motor Speedway promotion. But that's hardly the story. Witten talked extensively about released receiver Terrell Owens: "Terrell's a great player." "I was a better player because of him and what he brought to the team." "He's going to help Buffalo a lot." "We wish him the best of luck. No hard feelings there." "We've got to move on and become better." Here's the video of Witten's comments. And George Riba has more, too. 4 CommentsLeave a comment |

Come to think about it T.O made me a better fan too. I'd always tune in to see his sideline rants and watch him berate offensive linemen when they got a penalty.
No doubt he made Witten's life a little easier, but he, Tony, and the rest of the offense will be just fine. I've got to agree with #82 about one thing: "We've got to move on and get better." That says it all.
Jason Witten may be the only true professional on that team. That said, it probably means Jerky will trade him for not making enough headlines of the negative sort.
I agree with John. Jason Witten is the only true professional on that team, He is humble and in my opinion, is the glue that binds that team together. He is in the same caliber of players like Bill Bates, Daryl Johnston and Randy White.
