Stars center Mike Modano doesn't want to talk about next year. Their season is over and Modano skips the meeting with reporters and plays golf instead.

The rest of the guys pick up whatever stuff they need and head off for a longer off season than they're used to.

It's only the third time since they moved to Dallas in '93 they've missed the playoffs.

But a season with an incredible number of injuries ends with a 12th place finish and now they wait 'till next year.
