Michael Vick says he was "immature"

After hearing in the last couple days that Michael Vick plans to be back in the NFL by September, I found this little gem.

Basically, the article says Vick has had time to think about his past life in prison....really? So, what exactly do we take from this? What if Vick had never been caught for what he calls, a "heinous" act? Would he have ever learned from his mistake? What if the dogfighting ring he financed was still going on?

I'm playing devil's advocate here, because no one really knows how Michael Vick has changed or if he has changed. There is no doubt in my mind that people can change.

My question now is, how would you feel to see a man of Vick's stature get back on the playing field and make millions of dollars again? Better yet, what if(it's a big what if) the Cowboys signed him? How would you as a fan react to this? Our sports department seems to think alike, no?

Did anyone catch what Sand wrote? Is this an instigator, or an uneducated person (loved your mechanics) trying to incite something on WFAA.com?

To hahaha: people like him only succeed when people like you are willing to respond. It's called "don't feed the trolls".

As for Vick, I think this article was well written. My personal pet peeve on this whole mess is the number of people who refer to this as a "mistake". It went well beyond that.

Any team who signs him had better be prepared for the fan fallout. This could have something to do with the fact that the Falcons have been dangling him since February and not getting any nibbles.

All the apologies in the world don't serve to erase certain facts, nor do they negate the peek into someone's character. He's a common thug, just like his little bro. Good work Mama Vick!
