Mavs get a little revenge against D-Wade

The Dallas Mavericks probably won't go very far in the playoffs this season, but they scored one big win.

They beat Dwyane Wade. It was nearly three years ago that Wade and his Miami Heat broke the hearts of Mavs fans in one of the most remarkable comebacks in sports.

The Mavs were up 2-0 in the Finals and playing the end of game three and everything was going their way.

Then Dwyane Wade happened (and the refs) and the rest is another painful part of Mavs history.

Let's just say that parade route for Downtown Dallas was never needed.

But last night the Mavs got a little bit of revenge. They beat Wade and the Heat in a tight game 98-96. A nice win, with much less on the line.

Wade still had a good night with 23 points, six assists and three rebounds.

The real surprise is that this was Wade's first game back in Dallas since the Mavs' Finals collapse. Wade was hurt in the Heat's games in Dallas the past two season.
