Draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. really likes TCU All-American Jerry Hughes in next year's NFL draft.

Kiper has Hughes as the No. 2 most-coveted defensive end for the 2010 draft.

Kiper ranks Hughes behind only Greg Hardy of Ole Miss. Rounding out Kiper's top five are Willie Young (NC State), Georgia Selvie (South Florida) and Corey Wootton (Northwestern).

Hughes led the nation in 2008 with 15 sacks and six forced fumbles. The 6-foot-3, 257-pound senior from Sugar Land also ranked in the top 10 in tackles for loss (19.5) and fumble recoveries (three). He added two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown.

Hughes was a finalist for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy and Ted Hendricks Award.

You better believe it - he's got a great head on his shoulders and should have an amazing 2009 season. TCU will be the #1 defense AGAIN!
