Tonight's game at the AAC will either make for a very intriguing final four games, or pretty much end the playoff race. A Maverick win will put them in a 7th place tie with Utah, and while the Jazz hold the tie-breaker, Dallas plays three of its final four games at home. What makes tonight's matchup so juicy is how both teams played on Sunday. The Mavs scored 81 points in the first half and led Phoenix by 22 at the break. Utah led New Orleans by 30 in the first half - on the road - and cruised to a victory. Both teams played arguably their best game of the season. Josh Howard is still a game-time decision. During his interview yesterday, Dirk said a few times how important it is for the Mavs to have Howard in the lineup - he went out of his way to stress that. Should be a good one tonight. |
