The Cowboys have saved local rock fans from depression today, re-signing offensive lineman Cory Procter to a one-year deal.

As Tim MacMahon pointed out on his DMN blog today, this means the rock band "Free Reign" will remain intact. Procter plays in a rock band with fellow linemen Leonard Davis and Marc Colombo.

The obvious guy missing from this supergroup is offensive tackle Flozell Adams. Of course, if Adams was a part of the band, he'd start playing his instrument early...before the band's show begins.
