The Dallas Cowboys ensured some of their defensive line depth by re-singing end Stephen Bowen today. He agreed to a one-year, $1.54 million deal similar to the one guard Cory Procter received last week. Here's the official release from the team: The Dallas Cowboys re-signed defensive end Stephen Bowen to a one-year contract today. In his three seasons with the Cowboys, Bowen has played in 34 regular season games recording 52 tackles. He posted a career-high 28 tackles in 2008 along with two tackles for loss and nine quarterback pressures. He originally signed with Dallas as an undrafted free agent following the 2006 NFL Draft out of Hofstra and made the team's practice squad as a rookie before signing to the active roster on November 11, 2006. |
