Troy, say it isn't so. The Roy Williams trade could possibly turn out to be the worst in NFL history? First of all, no matter how poorly Roy may play in the future, the trade to get him from Detroit in no way can be considered the worst in NFL history. Hands down, that is the Herschel Walker trade from the Cowboys to the Vikings in 1989. That one-handed deal eventually netted the Cowboys Emmitt Smith, Russell Maryland, Kevin Smith and Darren Woodson as draft picks. Walker never reached the levels Minnesota expected from him when they dealt for him. Instead, the Cowboys got four guys who laid down the foundation of their Super Bowl runs. Troy, you need to develop a better memory. I'm stunned you'd forget about the centerpiece of your title runs. And also...Roy had just half a season in Dallas. Let's not declare him a bust just yet. The entire offense suffered down the stretch, not just Roy. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

ack! Can you guys at wfaa stop frothing long enough to get his quote right? Pleeaasse?? His exact words were "one of the worst", not "the worst". Yet yesterday's headline claimed the worst, and now this blog does the same.
I agree it's a very debatable comment either way, but you're acting like ESPN when you rewrite the quote just for shock value!
