Are Nuggets just a bunch of thug punks?

Denver, Colorado is home to great skiing, a lot of beer, and one punk NBA team.

Compared to the Nuggets, the Mavericks or any other NBA team would have to be considered a bunch of choir boys. This Denver team certainly has great athletes, but also a reputation for "thuggery"- these guys like to slap around the competition, below the belt if necessary.

Mavs-Nuggets playoff schedule

The Dallas Mavericks will take on the second seeded Denver Nuggets in the second-round of the NBA playoffs. The winner will face the winner of the Lakers-Rockets series.

Here is the Schedule for the Mavs-Nuggets (all times Central):

Game 1 - Sunday, May 3, Dallas at Denver, 2:30 p.m. on ABC
Game 2 - Tuesday, May 5, Dallas at Denver, 9:30 p.m. on TNT
Game 3 - Saturday, May 9, Denver at Dallas, 4 p.m. on ESPN
...



Mavs facing a much different test

The Spurs were the 3 seed and the Nuggets the 2, but Denver provides a much more stern test than the hobbled guys from River Walkville...

Let's start with scoring options: Tony Parker and Tim Duncan (on one leg) were all the Spurs had - the San Antonio bench was about as productive as my stock portfolio over the last 6 months. Contrast that with the Nugget's Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, as well as Nene Hilario and Kenyon Martin...
