For those quick to judge the Cowboys draft...

Underwhelming. That's the word I would use to describe the Cowboys version of the 2009 draft. This is partly due to no first day selection. But, I find it a bit comical how everyone is already labeling this draft as a bust. Let's see how things play out first, and then let's judge.

The only way you can evaluate a draft is to look at the draft 3 maybe even 4 years down the road, not 24 hours after. Sure, there probably aren't any futur...

Cowboys had part in Sanchez deal

The Dallas Cowboys didn't make a pick on the first day of this year's NFL draft, but they still had a part in the biggest deal of the draft.

The New York Jets traded with the Cleveland Browns (and the coach the Jets fired a few months ago, Eric Mangini) so they could draft USC quarterback Mark Sanchez.

Moody Madness - 25th anniversary

The decisive fifth game was moved to SMU's Moody Coliseum because Reunion Arena was already set to host World Championship Tennis. Only 9,007 were on hand for one of the most exciting games in Mavericks' history.

Like many of you, I was quite underwhelmed by the Cowboys' draft this weekend. And very confused.

Besides the many reaches and odd selections (a kicker, really?), the decision by Jerry Jones to trade out of the 2nd round and pass up making the 51st overall selection is a real head scratcher.

Pick 51 quickly became "Area 51" for the Cowboys. Nothing but mystery and oddity.

Jerry, you're really telling us that after the f...

Cowboys draft full or reaches

Aaron Chimbel

The Dallas Cowboys drafted 12 players in this weekend's draft, all on the second day.

It's day we will likely look back and say wasn't very good. (And I'm not the only one wondering what Jerry Jones is thinking.)
