According to the good folks at 103.3 ESPN, Terrell Owens and his agent, the ever-personable Drew Rosenhaus, were spotted this morning at the airport in Nashville. Who knows if T.O. was heading somewhere else through Nashville or not, but it certainly leads to speculation that Owens might be headed for the Tennessee Titans. Many have come out and said that T.O. and discipline-minded coach Jeff Fisher would have problems getting along. Of course they would...this is Terrell Owens we're talking about. But we're also talking about a Titans team that steamrolled through the regular season, only to suffer a devastating and dissapointing defeat in the playoffs. Many are calling for Tennessee to go out and find that big receiving weapon for Kerry Collins (or Vince Young)...something the team has been lacking lately. Owens would certainly give them that. But he'd give them something else- a headache. Tennessee brass must wonder whether this is something worth taking on. Then again, maybe T.O. was just relaxing in the airport lounge and on his way to another NFL city. Who knows. Not our problem anymore. 6 CommentsLeave a comment |

Even after the departure of Terrell Owens, the Dallas sports radio (there's a contradiction) personalities find it very difficult to talk about anything in Dallas, Texas or national sports other than T.O. Give it up guys, your whipping boy is gone. I wonder what would happen if we put all the radio personalities in charge of the Cowboys and see if all their lip flapping could change the direction of the team. Boy, you talk about personality conflicts and back stabbing and poison in the locker. Let's put Coach Galloway in charge and see if we don't have a cellar dweller in less than a year.
Who in their right minds lets go of one of the greatest WR of all times.. TO being on our team is clearly the best shot we had at making the Super bowl..
To the Dallas Media, National Media, Wade Phillips, and Jason Garret:
If you were in a squad of Marines storming a beach on enemy land, would you want the guy who gave you the "Warm fuzz’s" and was everyone’s pal next to you or would you want the nastiest, meanest, toughest SOB in the core next to you???
Why are we breaking up a team that has Super Bowl written all over them? We lost our Starting QB and RB for a handful of games last year.. What team wouldn’t off had a hard time making the playoffs?
I mean come on... And Dale Hanson… I think the Houston News cast has a spot open for a Texans fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Problem isn't OWENS but Wade Phillips and JAson Garrett. Love him or hate him TO is an important part of the Cowboys offense(i hate to admit that). Romo is ONLY where he is today because of Owens..
The days of Jason Witten(Romo's fav target) running wide open down field like he is use too are over! and the running game will suffer because there is no longer a big passing threat. The whole offense will be different now. Way to go Jerry!!
The issue isn't with Owens but with the coaching staff. It's simple, IF the cowboys win Owens shuts up- Cowboys lose and then there are issues. Terrell is just a competitor and hates losing. IF Coach Phillips had any leadership or people skills he would have stepped in and handled Owens(just like Parcells did). We all knew what we are getting when we brought Owens to the team and Jerry just needs to deal with that.. if Wade Phillips can't handle him, bring in a coach that can. I think it's weak character on Jerry Jone's to just give up and let Owens win.. especially after he had given OWENS such a big bonus last year$$. If Owens was causing trouble in the locker room, suspend him for a game, fine him$$.. Nobody seemed to step in and discipline TO.
The problem is the cream puff head coach, definitely the predictable play calling of offensive cord Jason Garrett.. and perhaps the QB.. and we will finally realize exactly the type of QB Tony Romo is now--- a very talented 2nd string Quarterback but a leader he is not.
I really miss Tom Landry and Bill Parcels... hell, even Jimmy Johnson..
This team needs discipline and class!!
I am surprised that you reporters are still trying to "put down" T.O. even after he has left the team. This all sounds like a personal grudge with you guys, and you are never going to let it go. You did everything you could to make people dislike T.O. and to make his life here as miserable as possible. I also think that all the negativism had something to do with him leaving. And now he is seen at an airport in another state, and you start on him again. Put your hate hunt in the closet and let it go.
Somewhere in Valley Ranch, Ed Werder is packing his bags for Tennessee.
Let me say this to George, Chad, Sean, and Robert, why are you even worried about what someone says about Owens. He's gone, thank God, and I hope he never comes back to Texas period. He was a cancerous presence, he was definitely overrated, and people like you who continue to "make excuses" for Owens and guys like him is why the sports arena is in such bad shape. Owens needed to act like a man and take his medicine when he acted like a spoiled brat. I would feel sorry for any team that would be dumb enough to take Owens, but I do have a suggestion. Let the Bengals or Browns take him since I don't like either of those teams anyway. I really would prefer not to see anything about Owens in the paper or even in blogs like this, because it gives him "air" time which is something he doesn't deserve. But hey, he is way beyond his 15 minutes of glory. You folks take your own advice... let it rest.
