Got Yourself Arrested? Play For Cowboys

Dale Hansen is 100-percent right.

Gerald Sensabaugh will be a great fit for the Cowboys.

Three arrests by the age of 25.

All I know is this- if I had three arrests on my record, chances are I'd have a hard time finding a permanent job. At the very least, I would have some major explaining to do. But when you're talking Jerry Jones and the Cowboys, it's almost treated as a badge of honor.

The hubris on this team is ridiculous. And it all starts with Jerry.

He gets rid of Pacman Jones, supposedly because of his off-the-field issues. He brings in a guy like Sensabaugh, with his recent police problems. Jerry used to at least make sense in his madness. He doesn't even do that anymore.

If you're a college football player and you don't run a fast time in the 40, you can't bench press 500 pounds....but you've got an extensive arrest record?

Have no fear. Jerry and the Cowboys will come knocking on your door.

And if you happen to have some talent as well, you'll be pampered and rewarded with a fat contract and called a "tremendous teammate" by Mr. Jones.

That's life in 2009 at Valley Ranch.

At first glance i totally agreed with this. Then i did some investigating into this menace to sosiceties criminal Background.
After reading the kingsport,TN newspaper article it is even more hokey. The only reason he was even suspicious was he was in a bently in the projects. big freakin deal he wanted a haircut from a brother. And yes he was getting a haircut there they even let him finish before taking him into custody. one of his recless driving violations was doing a wheelie on a motorcycle. and the other one was doing 84 in a 55. good God lock him up and throw away the Key this man is a menace to society.

moral of the story is never get your haircut in kingsport i guess

well it looks like someone else has a great opinion on the dallas cowboys but i think before you start writing ridiculous columns on websites maybe do a little research. At least Dale Hansen has actually spent some time to research his material. Here is a little secret alot of people have been arrested, your employer does not need to know unless it is a felony conviction. I guess you've never had to fill out an application for a real job MR.David Marcus. To imply that having a arrest record increses your chance to be a dallas cowboy is absurd.Has this man committed any felonies?......NO...maybe a couple of bad decisions is all he can be held accountable for .But I guess you've never made none of those Mr.Marcus I suggest you get your facts strait before you attack America's team or Jerry Jones .

Lets see, a speeding ticket. Now there's a biggy. Not too many people have not had a speeding ticket. Oh yeah, a wheelie on a motorcycle, that isn't exactly a major crime, so that's two traffic citations. Oh yeah, having guns in the car with no registration. Again, not a big deal as down here in Texas gun registration isn't a law. So it looks like you are engaged in a personal attack on someone without checking facts. That isn't reporting, that's just a personal attack for your own gratification. You are quoting things that are lies, and you should be held accountable.

It took me all of about fifteen minutes to do a few google searches and come up with some facts on this case. Why cant everybody do this before they try to throw somebody under the bus. The biggest mistake this man has made that i can see is didnt pay a speeding ticket and had his license suspended. oops.

I am not even a jornalist and i have enough ethics to do some reserch before i report.

You guys just dont get it, it is about the mans lack of concern for the law. The implication is that he can do what he wants to do since he is a football player. You want to forgive the man his indiscretion and I am all for that, but there is a pattern here that cannot be ignored. 1 ticket, okay, 2 Tickets okay, 3 tickets and you start to wonder, hey what is up with this guy. Then you throw in the fact that he is carrying around the weapons that he has been caught with, the lack of a permit on the first arrest and then the number and types of weapons on the 3rd incident. I mean come on guys, what happens to your insurance when you get 3 tickets? Well if the insurance company is going to scrutinize then why cant a reporter, why cant I. I mean this guy is going to be in my City, kids will look up to him because He is a Dallas Cowboy!!! What jj is saying is we dont care about what you have done, we want to win and we will pay you regardless of your past indiscretions, and your lack of judgment, and we dont care!!!!!
You guys have labled me a Hater, a relative of Dale Hansen, etc. but you guys are just not being intelectually honest with yourselves and about this man. It will be worse when Michael Vick comes to town
