Its race week, what does Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage have up his sleeve this week? Who knows! "If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise," Gossage said at Mobile 1 Lube Express in Grand Prairie. That's where he and NASCAR driver Sam Hornish Jr decided to perform oil changes and give tickets to the first 100 customers who purchased an oil change.

Over the years, Gossage has become one of the best promotion guys in North Texas. Said Gossage, "Mike Helton, the President of NASCAR called me yesterday and I said, Mike, I haven't done anything yet. He said this is a preemptive call because you're going to do something."

Of course Gossage is the guy that used the Danica Patrick and Dan Wheldon scuffle to promote and IRL race. But ticket sales are slower than usual for this weekends Samsung 500, so who knows what he might cook up this week. Any ideas?
