Most of us in the media weren't shocked by T.O.'s release, only mildy surprised that Jerry reversed field only a few weeks after that crytic quote when he seemed to say he'd keep the tumultuous receiver. Players are displaying shock that the talented wideout will no longer wear the star. I talked at length with linebacker Bradie James - his take: I feel like I've been blind-sided. I'm frustrated but I know its Jerry Jones team. Some of the locker room stuff has been blown out of proportion, and I feel like they ran T.O. out of town. We just got to hold and see what's next." Now that Cowboys locker room will have to find a way to come together - T.O. had his supporters, and they'll feel slighted because they'll see the team as less talented now. Yes the drama factor just went way down, but replacing his production will not be easy. Mr. Romo - its your time to lead. Can you handle it? The way he answers that question could go a long way in determining just how successful the Cowboys will be in '09. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |
