North Texas native Lance Armstrong takes a spill in Spain. This could put in jeopardy his possible return to the Tour de France. The Associated Press reported these comments from Armstrong after the crash: "Toward the end of the race people started getting excited, a bit of wind, some hills and everybody wanting to be at the front, A couple of guys crashed in front of me. I crossed my wheel, then I hit them and over the top. You know, that's cycling. It's nobody's fault, crashes happen all the time." If the 7-time Tour champ doesn't ride in the Tour de France, how many of you just lost interest? 2 CommentsLeave a comment |

Huh?
If the loss of one person causes interest in a sport to plummet, one of two things is true: either the sport wasn't interesting to begin with, or the person was overhyped all along.
