The Dallas Mavericks played an Oklahoma City team Monday that doesn't have Kevin Durant again and Jeff Green, who scored 28 Friday night in Dallas, did not playing either. So explain this one to me. Oklahoma City has only won 13 games -- when they've got their best players -- but the Mavericks trail all night, anyway. Down 4 at the half, then Oklahoma City outscores the Mavericks 31-14 in the 3rd and the Mavericks were down 20 going to the 4th. But the Mavs start the 4th quarter going on a 17-2 run. Dirk Nowitzki gets 16 of his 28 in that 4th quarter and they cut it back to a 4 point game, but then didn't score for more than 4 minutes. The Mavericks lose in Oklahoma City, 96-87. Wow, what a bad loss this is. |
