The list just keeps getting longer.

Now it's former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terry Glenn, who was arrested on charges of public intoxication and possession of marijuana last month. He also had four outstanding traffic warrants.

It happened at the Extended Stay Deluxe Hotel at 605 Meadow Creek Dr. in Irving Jan. 25.

Workers called police about a suspicious person, according to police.

Glenn also had four traffic warrants outstanding in Roanoke.

Glenn was released after posting bond the next morning.

He played for the Cowboys from 2003 to 2007 and was released before training camp last year. Glenn did not play in the NFL in 2008. He was a first-round draft pick by the New England Patriots in 1996.

5) Roanoke Warrant - FTA $646 bond
6) Roanoke Warrant - FTA $646 bond

Here are his other career "stats":

Well now I guess we can blame T.O. for this one, he gets blamed for everything else but the funny thing is he has never been arrested for any "shady" goings-on. WOW!

No, T.O. hasn't gotten arrested for anything, but he sure does know how to run his mouth. Too bad he didn't run all of his routes or help with the after the catch blocking or running by the rest of his team. He did a good job at the beginning of the season, but seemed to not give 100% to the team towards the end.

How did this go from Terry Glenn to Terrell Owens?

Srob said:

Tracey unless you were on the field I doubt you know whether he gave 100% or not. Not trying to argue but I'm a big fan of T.O. to me he is the best in the game sure he talks, tell me who doesn't get mad when they feel they can help a situation and are not given the chance to do so? But I would think Flozell should get some blame for all of his "false starts", Crayton for his drops. Yes it is about Terry Glen you are correct just venting that's all Go Cowboys !

Another Cowboy looser, How many does this make ??

Another Dallas Cowboy idiot with nothing between the ears! Its amazing how players like this ever made it through their college programs. Glenn had four warrants and will tell everyone he didn't know about them.

The T.O.'s and Glenns of the NFL couldn't pass a 3rd grade math exam if they had the answer sheet in front of them. Look at the backgrounds and upbringings of these idiots and you'll see a pattern of what type of athlete causes these problems

Why not say Former first-round pick of N.E. Patriots Terry Glenn.... Why does in have to be Former Dallas Cowboy.... just asking???

Wasn't his buddy Michael Irvin supposed to talk to the police this week about his "attempted" car jacking? What happened to the meeting?

Steel said:

Now he can join Michael Phelps. POT SMOKERS

Thanks for writing Sanchez,
Since we are in Dallas and Glenn played for the Cowboys that is why we report it as a former Dallas Cowboy. If we were a Boston news outlet we would have reported Glenn as a former Patriot.
Hope that clarifies it for you.

I dont have time to read all the comments written on every subject daily.. but i was just wondering if i checked back how many people that called Glenn a thug and somehow grouped T.O. in to this conversation would re comment and let me know if they bothered to comment on the Micheal Phelps situation and what did they say... If they didnt comment why not.. As far as I can remember I havnt heard anything negative about Glenn nor anything of illegal nature about TO.... but i do remember hearing that Phelps got a DUI last year or the year before...

Just wondering if anybody will be honest and respond.... It doesnt matter what you think I might be implying, what matters is your intent and your heart when you attack a person that you dont even know and you do it biasly... If you didnt good for you... If you did ... Check yourself and ask your self why.... so we dont have to imply why we think you would damn near hang one person and sweep the other persons wrong under the rug...

Double standards..

Great way of dancing around the race card. So, your vague question is "Why are you white people commenting on Terry Glenn and throwing him under the bus, without doing the same with "Whitey" Michael Phelps.

Answer: This is a WFAA website and the only reason Terry Glenn's arrest is news here is because.....he was a former Cowboy!!

Phelps is from Baltimore, they don't care about Terry Glenn in Baltimore. Likewise, people in Dallas don't care about Phelps.

Had the two been teammates, or maybe even played the same sport, your race card would have merit.

Well, I guess Jerry can officially hire Mr. Glenn back now as he will fit right in with the Cowboy street thug team, including Jerry. h2

Neither Glenn or Phelps are the first atheletes to mess up and they won't be the last. I think we need to move on. Lets hope they can handle their situations and be better for it. There are obviously many more important things we all need to be focusing on these days.

However, I can't help but think if the Cowboys didn't take chances on every player who shoots up a strip club or destroys the chemestry of their team they would have a better rep. I'm sure that sounds crazy Jerry Jones, but ya know...
