Circus has set up at Valley Ranch

We had a circus that came to my hometown every 4th of July, but it wasn't nearly the circus that the Cowboys have become.

Cowboys hire Dan Reeves Sunday, he quits 3 days later and nobody's willing to say why.

Reeves says it was because of one clause that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones put in the contract. Jones says it was because he was concerned about the commitment Reeves was willing to make.

There's not a day Dan Reeves takes a job he's not committed to doing the right way and it's a job he's still willing to do.

But think of the situation Jones has created now.

He hires a consultant because his head coach can't do the job, his offensive coordinator can't do the job and the general manager can't either.

And now the consultant quits.

How does anybody go forward now?

The only difference between Jerry Jones and Raiders owner Al Davis is the white jump suit. The Cowboys are owned by Al Davis and Matt Millen is the general manager.

And the circus is still in town, but the consultant isn't.

Actually there is no circus at Valley ranch. What is causing a circus like atmosphere is the reporters that make things up, or twist them around to support there own agenda.

I knew the Jerry defenders would come out and blame the media. The media is reacting to the fan base. Jerry tried to do with Parcells what he did with Jimmy. Have a football guy come in and create a winning team and then push them aside to try and claim all of the success. With a Billion dollar mortgage, a bad economy, lack of corporate sponsorhsip, and a bad team. Jerry better start thinking....
