One team virus down, several more to go. Jerry Jones didn't say a word Wednesday, but by releasing troubled corner Pacman Jones, he spoke volumes. The acquisition of Pac was a mistake from the beginning, and his release admitted as much. Jones was as much a disappointment on the field as he was off it. We never saw the player who showed so much brilliance as a special teams returns monster for the Tennessee Titans. We never saw the player who picked off passes and made opposing quarterbacks pay dearly for those mistakes. Jones was never as good as advertised and, in the end, he was a risk not worth taking one more time. The Cowboys problems in the locker room are multiple, but Jones certainly was part of them. By removing him, you send a message to the rest of the team....one sorely overdue. If you're going to be a pain off the field, you'd better produce on it. T-O, are you listening? 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

Hopefully Jerry has finally realized that when the ship starts to sink the rats jump of first.
You cannot build a championship team without discipline and accountablity. Character will win out over physical talent in the long run. And as a true cowboy fan who bleeds silver and blue. I want to see us re-establish ourselves as the classy premier team that we once were !
