Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Cowboys Sunday night victory over the Giants.

He finished the game with seven tackles, three sacks, two quarterback pressures and two forced fumbles.

It was Ware's third game of the season with three sacks and fifth of his career.

He was named to his third consecutive Pro Bowl Tuesday.
