Terrell Owens has a lot to say about the events this week at Valley Ranch. "We've always been together," Owens said. "No matter the rumors, lies, we've always been together." Owens blamed ESPN's Ed Werder for taking the story too far. "They told a blatant lie," he said of ESPN. "I'm clueless as to what his sources are," Owens said. Did the media being down you guys in a weird way bring this team together? "Winning today was the only thing that mattered," Owens said. "I don't know who their sources are, but it's a tale," he said. "Anything that happens I'm going to be the fall guy," Owens said. "Great guy, great player," Owens said of Witten. Dale, that implosion didn't happen tonight. Defense won the game, but the house is still sounding, and the offense didn't tear the house down. I know Dale is waiting for a TO tantrum, but lets focus on a dominating win over the Super Bowl champions. The receiver soap opera was a minor subplot this week. Barber wasn't ready to play, but we won anyway. This was the wrong night to run a watch commercial over and over, saying Eli Manning is unstoppable. Take away his top receiver, and his top running back, and he stops looking like Steve Pelleur.
Say what you will about TO but at the end of the day he's one of the most talented WR's in the league.
Think of it this way. Do you want a heart surgeon or fighter pilot, that's "pretty good"? Or one that thinks he's the best there ever was?
