Rookie Tashard Choice is supposed to be the Dallas Cowboys third-string running back. He's better than that. I really hope in the team's 20-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers that Choice's exceptional day against the NFL's top defense doesn't get lost. Choice had the best running day any back has had against the Steelers this season. He ran 23 times for 88 yards (3.8 yards per carry) and caught five passes for 78 yards. That's 166 yards in his first NFL start. The Cowboys are fortunate to have three quality NFL backs -- that is when Marion Barber and Felix Jones are healthy. |
